Speaker: Katie Stage, ND, RH (AHG) Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are collectively referred to as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Both conditions can cause disabling symptoms and impair the quality of life of those diagnosed. In this session, we compare and contrast the risk factors, common symptoms, pathophysiology, and diagnoses of both conditions.
