2017 Medicines from the Earth Herb Symposium
Date: 6/02/2017 - 6/05/2017
Presented at Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain, North Carolina, the theme of this year's symposium centered on the wide-ranging effects of inflammation. This included the most up-to-date information on botanicals for urinary pain, hepatitis B & C, insomnia, resetting the circadian cycle, degenerative neurological disease, cancer, Alzheimer's disease and alternatives to the most commonly used pharmaceuticals.
In addition, the two-part series by Donald Yance on the vagus nerve and the gut-brain connection, the intensive by Kenneth Proefrock on Immunopsychiatry and the two-part series with Walter Crinnion on Neuroinflammation expanded on this theme. Recordings of medicine-making classes, wild foods cooking and an herb walk are included for a change of pace.
